Amherst’s Merry Maple Tree lighting, a beloved Amherst tradition, kicks off the holiday season on Friday, December 1 from 3-6 PM at the Amherst Town Common with hayrides, marching bands and horse drawn carriages. And the tree lighting, of course.
Join in on Northampton’s Northampton's Holiday Stroll on December 2 and explore all of Main Street warmed by the fire, under the glittering lights.
If you’re looking to see the closest thing to the real Santa, look no further than Santas Workshop and Trains at Look Park in Northampton, December 8-24. Featuring huge display of model trains whirling by a whimsical wonderland of village landscapes. Admission is free.
