Downtown Northampton has seen a lot of change in the last 18 months. Some longtime local businesses have closed their doors — Artisan Gallery, Cathy Cross, and Silverscape were Main Street touchstones for decades — while others have expanded. 25 Central took over Artisan's space, while Rebekah Brooks expanded into Cathy Cross's storefront across the street, continuing the long history of woman-owned businesses in those spaces.
