In Case You Missed It from Visit Hampshire County Aug. 25, 2014
Fort Hill Brewery, Easthampton | From Facebook
Last week another new Easthampton brewery, Fort Hill Brewery, released its first beer and opened its doors to the public. Twenty-two months ago, the location was just an empty field and now there's a production brewery capable of brewing 8,000 barrels of German-style lagers a year. In addition to Fort Hill's first batch came news about Abandoned Building Brewery's license to sell pints and flights of beer on site and a third brewery to open later this fall in another Easthampton mill space, New City Brewery.

Over the past few weeks, there have been several unusual vehicles spotted around western Massachusetts. First we caught wind of the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile driving around Easthampton and Northampton, thanks for the Easthampton 01027 The Good News Page. The following week the Amherst Business Improvement District captured a peanut mobile parked near city hall. What will it be next?
