This month Thrillist named Mount Holyoke College one of the 25 Most Beautiful College Campuses in America. With its designation as a botanical garden and arboretum, Mount Holyoke's campus is the perfect destination for a fall foliage walk in western Massachusetts.
Speaking of lists, MassLive recently featured a list of places to visit in Florence, a village in Northampton where there's a little bit of everything all within a mile or so. You can start the day at its vegan cafe or diner, spend the day browsing its book and record stores, and finish off with dinner and live music or a game on the big screen.
Easthampton is quite the arts destination with the Cottage Street Cultural District and multiple public artworks from murals to bike racks. Matt Johnson's guitar sculpture on Union Street is one of the newest additions to this city's collection.

Also happening in Easthampton is a new project by nationally-known theater artist and local Seth Lepore. Taking his show off the road, Lepore debuts the The Seth Show on September 30 at Eastworks. Described as "an (almost) weekly show of observational satire," the performances will run the gamut of Lepore's multifaceted talents. The shows will happen weekly on Tuesdays for six months.
Downtown Northampton has been suprising shopaholics since last December with a pop-up shopping event called Girl Town, and the next one is this Sunday, September 28! Attendees receive a complimentary cocktail and shopping pass at sign-in 11:30-12:30 at McLadden's this time and enjoy discounts at up to 50 downtown shops until 5 p.m. and 20% off dinner at partcipating restaurants. All details can be found on Girl Town's Facebook.
ICYMI (In Case You Missed It) from Visit Hampshire County is a round-up of our favorite finds from our quest for all things Hampshire County each week that we shared on Facebook and Twitter.
