We love an excuse to celebrate and throw big parties in Hampshire County just as much as the next place. And what’s summer without a few Fourth of July celebrations? No matter what weekend you might be visiting Hampshire County around this national holiday, there’s a fireworks spectacular for you.

Saturday, June 22
Northampton Family Fourth Celebration

Look Memorial Park
300 North Main Street, Florence, MA
In its third year the Northampton Family Fourth Celebration fun begins Saturday, June 22 at 5 p.m. Enjoy live music, delicious food from some of the area’s best restaurants and food trucks, as well as lots of games and activities for the whole family.  Rain date: June 23. *At 5 p.m. the park road will close when the fireworks arrive. Parking is available at Smith Vocational High School with shuttle bus service directly to the Park.

Easthampton Spirit Fireworks Spectacular

Festivities begin at 5 p.m. Live music, food vendors, balloon rides, rock wall and BMX stunt show! Rain date: June 30

South Hadley Independence Day Fireworks

Thursday, July 4
Town of Amherst July 4th Celebration

On the fields behind the UMass McGuirk Alumni Stadium
Stadium Drive, Amherst MA *$5 parking fee
A whole slew of entertainment and fun for the entire family starting at 5 p.m. Includes games, carnival rides, a climbing wall, Re/Max hot air balloon rides, and pie eating and corn husking contests. Live entertainment and food vendors.

Each of these events is made possible by local community groups and a lot of great local sponsors.
