There’s nothing like climbing a 70-foot cliff and peering over the treetops – unless you’re afraid of heights. Then there’s nothing like having a picnic at the bottom. Whatever your version of the “great outdoors,” you’ll find it in Western Massachusetts.
Go for a bike ride with the kids on our miles of railroads converted to bike paths, or cycle the hilly back roads on the outskirts of town. Let your dog paddle in the river, or grab a kayak to paddle it yourself. Sip a mug of cocoa after a brisk early winter run, or bundle up to cross-country ski once the snow starts falling.
